Despite its tiny size, the Vatican has one of the most extensive and highly respected diplomatic networks in the world. As a moral voice of conscience on the international stage, the Holy See engages in issues of peace, human rights, interreligious dialogue, and the common good \"\ud83e\udd1d\"\"\ud83d\udd4a\ufe0f\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Holy See maintains full diplomatic relations with 184 states, as well as with the European Union and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. Currently, 95 apostolic nuncios\u2014diplomatic representatives of the Pope\u2014serve in various positions around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
